You need this for the road and get a SeaDoo for the lake next summer. Keep some wind in your face and it will change your whole day. And do NOT get any used ones that are projects. These have LOTS of parts and that seems to be your kryptonite. -

My old escalade does this anytime the battery is disconnected and sometimes at random. A restart clears it for me. Apparently there is a program update (TSB) that will fix it if I take it in. -

looks like ends of a shear pin, which typically means it sheared! you should check further, maybe a scope with a light if you are not already taking it apart -

Does not matter if she was cited. Your insurance will handle it with hers using whatever rules they use, which is separate from citations and the State vs either of you. Your insurance may end up covering it and then going after hers. That happened to me in a deal like this. -
