Dumping EVs, returning to gasoline powered vehicles.

And going back to the OP, I worked in the tire industry for a few years and for sure I can see EV tires not lasting long. As posted heavy vehicle and lots of torque don’t help matters. My current SUV and my last SUV had between 550 and 650 lb-ft of torque and they are both brutal on tires... -

we had a leaf for about 2 and a half years. Absolutely zero maintenance. Like I replaced the wiper blades one year, filled the washer fluid a couple of time, and that was it. I replaced the tires before we turned the car back in (lease). No oil changes, no batteries, no air filters, oil filters... -
Old Honda trail 70 motorcycles
saw 4 trail 70's or 90's on FB marketplace the other day. two were in good condition, one was decent and one for parts. Looked like a nice project for someone to get into a "blast from the past". I ride my wifes Grom to the grocery store every so often, lots of fun. -

picked up a 2014 Mercedes GL with 26k miles. missing 2 cylinders compared to my former DD (last car was V10 twin turbo diesel Touareg). Enjoyed the drive back from CO, drives smooth. likes to drink the petrol. sounds good when you get on it and gives a nice brap between shifts. hauls the mail... -
