I can appreciate that. The older I get, it seems the more gear I wear. I suppose if I live to 100 I should be about bullet proof. I am going broke trying to find the "right" gear.
Thanks for your story @biker_bill, serving and for living (your humor in your posts are very entertaining). Like I said, to each his own. I really do not care what other bikers wear, it was such a contrast between the two of us passing each other, just thought I would throw it out there.
Saw a biker, not a kid, pass by me today (Colorado) 77 degrees, 14% humidity, wind wsw 19mph. No helmet, no shirt, no gloves, no boots, cut off jeans. Had monkey bars with throttle hand on them, the other resting on his hip traveling about 60mph on double lane road, medium traffic.
