    Anyone else go out and enjoy the "winter" weather yesterday? Got home from work and went out for a ride around town, felt great to be on two wheels again. I'll be investing in some better cold-weather gear soon so I don't have to wait for unseasonably warm weather again.

    After talking the the service manager we settled on something I am comfortable with. You know what they say, squeaky wheel... They are going to replace all 8 fuel injectors, and detail the truck for far less than $1,800. At least it will be clean when I go to sell it...

    Called Corporate this morning and created a case number. The truck has been with them since Friday afternoon, so hopefully they will sort through it. Now the question is, do I tell the dealership I've created the case number and see if they try to settle it up sooner? They (corporate)...

    That's a fair point, and for the emissions system I have an 80,000 mile warranty.

    You read that right. My 2017 5.3 Silverado that I've owned since June 2017, not even two years, needs 3 fuel injectors. Of course, as luck would have it this is just 3k miles outside of the bumper to bumper warranty. The dealer quoted $1,800 to change out all 4 in the bank... Has anyone else...

    https://www.truckspecialtiesllc.com/ Truck Specialties in Cartersville does some pretty good work, and I know a few ODT'ers that have gone to them. They do a lot of work for dealerships (Tint/Lifts/Bed liners) and the local PD (tint). Cash discounts.
