Guess I have to wait on my toy.:( Wifey found a firebird that she's wanted for years. Late 80's model with t-tops and of course it's red. I guess I could use this as leverage to get me something to play with.;)
Damn craiglisters, sold the car out from under me. Paint was dull, a buffing would have worked. Heat and ac, dash, radio worked. Needed carpet in the front and seat covers, from wear. Nothing needed, maybe a tune up.
I realize it's older and there will be normal wear and tear, but as long as there's not any major specifics to check, then I'm good. It's supposed to be completely stock, said it just needs some tlc. If the deal goes through, then I'll post some pics. My wife says I'm going through a midlife...
I'm looking into buying my first car, I've always had trucks and suvs. It's an 84 model. Are there anything in particular I should look at prior to purchasing it? I know to look for leaks and listen to the motor and tranny, but it's there anything corvette specific I need to look for?
I am in the same boat. Anytime I start to get my funds up for a project deuce, something happens to deplete the funds for it. I'm still looking at them though.
It's normal. You may be able to change it. My z71 unlocks all of the DOS when you put it in park. Also won't allow you to lock the drivers door with the keys on the ignition, if you're not in the seat.
Nice, glad you found one you like. I love my crew cab Z71.My biggest problem I had with a black ride is the damn water spots if you didn't wax it everything you washed it.
Did find out it has a bronco frame with a 429 in it. Body is in good shape, interior needs work. HTRDNCK, didn't see where you wanted the number til now. I will see if I can get for you.
I hear you. Doesn't look like it's going to school loans. LOL.
I'm a chevy man, but will give anyone credit for doing a tasteful or badass customizing. Horsepower ain't doing anything if you can't get it to the ground. Keep working on it.
I have had two kazumas, a 90 and a 50. Only problem was with the ignition module on one and tree rats chewing on the gas cap. Still have the 50, it will be for sale or trade.
I remember, several years ago, there was a handicapped man in Valdosta that had one.
As far as golf carts go, Tifton was supposed to pass a law that allowed them on two lane roads in town. Doesn't sound too safe IMO.
