  1. Man, I love to reload!

    It’s coming together!
  2. Man, I love to reload!

Any action taken within our respective overlords domain would be a credit to them by fact that they allow it to be in the first place.
  3. Man, I love to reload!

I had the same experience, I found no reason to continue to go through the extra steps of volume sorting when weight sorting good brass takes care of it. I must admit It sure is fun finding out on your own and seeing it first hand and I’ve never been one to take other people’s word without...
  4. New To Reloading: Press Questions

I started with a lee single stage a year ago and it has definitely helped the learning process. When you do everything one step at a time, it allows you to focus on the details of each stage and catch mistakes easier. You don't have to worry about machine setup. And now Im moving on to a lock...
  5. Buying Ny First Case Trimmer

I have the deluxe trimmer and it works. Pretty foolproof, but you do have to buy caliber specific dies. It is not meant for high vloume, but no manuel trimmers are. It beats the lee zip trim by far. one of these days i might pony up and get an electric.
  6. Problems finding load data

You are correct, I misspoke while multi tasking while responding. To many things on the brain at once. I wasn't reloading at the time though, I have to concentrate on that!
  7. Problems finding load data

I will say if you want good info, 6mmbr.com is an excellent source.
  8. Problems finding load data

Yes, and I might do that.
  9. Problems finding load data

Sierra does list a load for 168 matchking, not a big difference in loads just glancing at them.
  10. Problems finding load data

I have three manuals, sierra, lee, and hornady. I also printed off hodgdons data. I trust sierra loads for their bullets, and being I started reloading only a year ago, I'm trying to save myself time narrowing accurate loads. I figure if sierra recommends it, it must be close. I can load safely...
  11. Problems finding load data

    .308, listed for imr 4895 not h3895.
  12. Problems finding load data

By the way, this is really just me ranting about my own mess ups.
  13. Problems finding load data

Why is it when I buy a powder or a box of bullets, I buy the ones that's hard to find data for? It started with cfe .223, I like the powder but a newer powder doesn't have an abundance of load data. I bought some 165 game kings and damn if it the powder I have (h4895) isn't really listed in the...
  14. What have you reloaded today?

.308 game kings. Trying some h4895 for the next range trip.
  15. Interesting link on match brass preperation.

  16. Christmas In July

So....... Want to share some of that powder?
  17. .308 Game king recipes

Hard to get any specific powder right now, I like cfe223 but didn't have any left to try on the .308. 4320 grouped ok at 100, and I have some gauges coming to accurately measure bullet length for my gun. Probably going to pick up some accuracy there. I would like to try varget, when ever I can...
  18. .308 Game king recipes

Anybody have any load recipes they are willing to share. All i have powder wise is IMR4320 right now, its a lot of compressed loads which i'm not digging. .308 sierra game king in 165 grain.
  19. 556/223 Reloading

I would add that if you get away from stock 55gr fmj's, the price increases for factory rounds. My ar has a 1in7 twist rate barrel, it prefers heavier bullets. I can load custom match ammo in various grains for less or about the same as cheap ammo. If you shoot 55gr, it may be cheaper to save...
