  4. Smith & Wesson 25/625 45 Long Colt Load Data?

Definitely DO NOT use the Blackhawk/Redhawk-only loads in the Models 25-5 & 625! You would "Loosen Up" a good Gun in short order... Having said that, a few years ago Brian Pearce did an article in "Handloader" Magazine about this very subject--IIRC, he showed three different loads levels in...
  5. Bullets 173gr LSWC for 357 mag....185gr LWC for 45acp

I take it the 185-gr. .45 SWC's are Cast or Swaged Lead? What Powder(s) are you lookin' for?
  6. Reclaimed Lead Shot

    I think it will be MIXED 7 & 1/2's, 8's & 9's, should NOT be anything LARGER...HTH....mikey357
  7. 38/357 powder

    LMAO! Sad, but TRUE... :(
  8. Looking for 4 or 8 pounds of Hodgdon H-110 powder

Last time I was out at South River Gun Club, they had some Win. 296 in stock--EXACTLY the same Powder, IIRC...HTH....mikey357
  9. Best 357 ball powder?

2400 is not a Ball Powder, per the OP's original Q...And it does NOT Meter as well as Ball Powders do, FWIW..HTH....mikey357
  10. Shotshell Reloading Questions

Unless you have 3 or 400 pounds of Shot you bought WAY BACK when it was $14, $16 a Bag... :) ....mikey357
  11. 357 magnum loaded with Imr 4227

296 is NOT recommended for less than "Full Power" Loads...HTH....mikey357
  12. Looking for data on a Zero 147 gr jhp as far as powder ...........

Don't have THAT Manual, however...Lyman's "Pistol and Revolver Handbook", Third Edition, shows NO Data with either Win 231 OR HP38 & 147-gr. Boolits...FWIW, the ONLY 147-grainer they list is a CAST one...HTH....mikey357
  13. Looking for data on a Zero 147 gr jhp as far as powder ...........

Yeah, what little I know about the "Heavyweights" in 9mm, I think I'd use HS-6...It's a nice-behavin' Powder, not too "Temperature Sensitive", unlike Blue Dot--Plus, Blue Dot seems awfully LOUD to me! YMMV, of course... :) ....HTH....mikey357
  14. Looking for data on a Zero 147 gr jhp as far as powder ...........

Just checked my 2009 Hodgdon Manual...They show NO DATA for Win 231 OR HP38 with ANY 147-gr. projo. in 9mm Para...They DO, however, show some Data with those Powders in .38 Super, FWIW...HTH....mikey357
  15. Looking for data on a Zero 147 gr jhp as far as powder ...........

I am assuming you are looking for Load Data for 9mm Para.? If so, my Fourth Edition of the Hornady Manual shows NO Data using Win. 231 OR HP38 with 147-gr. projectiles...I'll check my Hodgdon Manual when I have a chance...HTH....mikey357
