I mistakenly picked up some Reloder 50 last year. Misremembered that I actually needed Reloder 7 for some Beowulf loads.
Is the Reloder 50 good for anything other than 50 bmg? I can't seem to find any information on it other than 50bmg loads...
I'm going to guess it's the static cling issue.
I have noticed that during cold weather, the powders I use, H110, Varget, tend to exhibit clinging characteristics. It tends to want to clump together rather than flow. Almost like static cling.
How cold is your work area?
A couple of links to some previous threads I started:
The first one had my results of loads through a 16" barrel and the same load through an 8" barrel.

I have similar data somewhere on 220 grain subsonic...
During the same shooting session, the chronograph measured factory 62 grain ammo at 2,950.
Good idea checking the scale. An obvious thing that I hadn't even thought of that, though it seems to yield cartridges with expected FPS on others like .303, 300 blackout, etc...
okay, I've verified the chronograph is accurately measuring the speed.
Looking through the links in Mr. Roddoc's posts, it does appear that my reloads are slower than they should be for a 16" barrel.
Has anybody experienced speeds slower than the books indicate certain powders and C.O.L.'s...
Just loaded some 62 grain projectiles over 24 grains of Varget.
Fired out of a 16" barrel and found my FPS to be around 2,300 FPS.
Hodgdens reloading site indicates that I should be closer to 2,900 FPS with that load (out of a 24" barrel).

I double checked my...
I loaded some 250grain .45 cast bullets over 4.0 grains and 4.5 grains of HP38 in .45 AutoRim cases to fire out of an old Webley Mk VI.
I did not crimp them.
I was expecting the FPS to be around 600 for the 4.0 grain loads and closer to 700 FPS for the 4.5 loads based on what I'd found in my...
Thanks!!!
He had some!
I would highly recommend anybody looking for powder, primers, cartridges or firearms, call him, or stop by his shop.
He has a surprisingly large amount of stuff.
