Pulled Bullets
Took me about a week after work in the evenings but I pulled about 300 projectiles with a kinetic bullet puller. Not a mark on any bullet. Just wears your elbow out -
.30-06 Reloading - How much would I save?
I believe it’s cost effective after the initial start up for these older calibers especially. I know 30-06 is still easily available but I’ve waited entirely too long to get a M1 and don’t want to risk breaking anything so i reload to m2 spec. I police brass from the club and flea markets etc... -

yea sinkers lol if I couldn't figure out what they were. Im not wanting to use them for anything important. I don't shoot 168s in my Garand and ive already got a 175gr pet load for my 308, so sinkers sounded like a practical use to me haha Ill PM you shortly -

After closer inspection the area between the cross is beveled, doesn’t look indicative of a Phillips screwdriver. I think I’ll try a plain bthp witha screwdriver an see if I can replicate -

Is it beneficial at all to do that? An attempt to control expansion for hunting? If that’s the case, I’m probably going to make me a buncha sinkers out of these. Thanks guys -

Bought a lot of -06 in enblocs to break down for components and most are 168gr bthp but some are these cross shaped bthp. I havnt found anything online that looks like this. Surely someone here has seen or used these. Any help is appreciated. -
