  1. Powder for .357 Rifle

Been working my tail off. The hands great. Honestly it's pretty much normal as its going to get.
  2. Powder for .357 Rifle

Imr 4227 is a good powder for 357 rounds
  3. WTB or Trade, Help out a Reloader..... Need H110, Lil' Gun, W296 or IMR 4227.

I've got some hs6 and some 4227 send me a PM if your interested
  4. 357 magnum loaded with Imr 4227

17 grains of 4227 is ridiculously accurate and clean when under a 125 grain projectile. I really don't see the need for a different powder.
  5. 357 magnum loaded with Imr 4227

How does w296 play if you use a reduced load? Also almost every bullet Weight cast or jacketed has data for 4227. I use plated bullets in 125 grain and 158 grain. So I try to keep em under 1300 fps load data.
  6. 357 magnum loaded with Imr 4227

I have gotten fantastic results. Anybody else use 4227? I'm also looking for suggestions on other powders! I've got two pounds of 4227 left then I wasn't to see if I can get better results with something else. I also have a pound of hs-6. I plan in using it to load some 38 special
  7. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

Yes to the shell holder question. As for the primers the center is hollow and the primers go through the center and kick out and land inside the base of the press. I just drilled out a big hole in the bench and made a catch tray for the spent primers.
  8. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

So I got my lee universal decapping die and $26 single stage lee press. Makes reloading a lot smoother. I don't get all the junk from decapping all over the carrier plate on my press. Add on hand priming and using the lee pro 1000 is not a headache lol.
  9. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

i picked one up at a walmart for $32. its an RCBS. its easy and smooth almost no effort required and the primer is actually seated all the way. with the lee i had sideways primers no primer it was just a pain in the ass. i also had some that would not seat all the way i assume that is not the...

  11. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

I broke down and bought a hand priming tool. It makes using the lee 1000 a 1000 times faster and 1000 times less aggravating lol.
  12. Has anybody used these bullets for reloading?

I like these bullets a lot. I loved the accuracy. I loaded them over 16 grains of imr4227. They shot fantastic out of a 6 inch ruger my lcr and 327 night guard
  13. 147gr Berry's bullets

Start withe data for lead bullets with the same weight or a little heavier like 150 gr lead bullet and work up from there
  14. 300 wsm brass trade

I've got 25 pieces of 300 wsm brass I'm looking to trade for 357 mag brass. The 300 brass is once fired range pick up brass. I can tumble the brass if you'd like.
  15. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

I got the hammer style. The rounds I was playing with before I got my calipers came out easy. After setting the die properly they are alot harder to get out lol. So I assume my roll crimp is set just right. No marking or tearing up the jacket just a good firm crimp
  16. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

Well I got the bullet puller. At least I know my crimp is good. They were a PITA to get apart lol
  17. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

It wasn't the guns fault. I've developed better safety practices for sure lol.
  18. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

Tell me about it I had one. I got rid of it when I had a nd that went through my left hand and I lost my middle finger. Hints my sig line
  19. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

The chain for the powder system caused the problem. It stretched and was not returning the powder disk all the way.
  20. I want to start reloading 357 what do I need?

Lol yea. It took me a while to get the dies and powder all dialed in. Like 45 min for 10 rounds . After that I spit out 30 rounds in 10 minuets. I am going to the range Saturday after I pick up my new to me 6 inch gp100 and another lcr357 . I have a question though. Some where through out...
