    Huckaby is not doing deer this year per his sign. First time since the 80's I will have to take a deer elsewhere. I am making a guess and saying he may be swamped with farm animals since that is what he does the rest of the year.

    Some of those "caged" hunts are still work. I met a guy who is a caretaker for a place in Texas they have a 2,100 acre cage. He says while they work at breeding big bucks there are bucks he has only ever seen on camera.

    It took me many years to get the game warden to show up and arrest poachers and when he showed up he did not get the main one. He did get a guy who worked hard at poaching. Bow hunting and with bait when it was not legal in the state.
