I don't hunt, but this happened to me fishing a few years ago. I used to buy 1 on my birthday because it expired on your birthday. I forgot that year, but the warden looked it up and saw I had held a license for the past couple decades. He gave me a verbal and said get one asap.
My nephew killed one a few years ago. He made pot roast in the crock pot and cooked it 24 hrs. I would rather eat my work boot, I think it would be more tender and taste better.
We live just in the city limits, but it is pretty rural. There is a cow pasture on 1 side and behind us. I can sit in the driveway in the evenings and count 20-30 rabbits, so there are probably 40-50 on our 5 acres. I think it would be fun for my youngest and myself to harvest some table fare...

If you read the comments, I find it funny that most of the sightings in Georgia are of black panthers. Living in Bartow county, I always heard stories of the black panthers that roamed Pine Log WMA.
