Statistics show that shooting a bear with anything will result in you surviving. That said, I’d go Glock. I hate Glocks. But it’s not that much more weight, you can throw a light on at night (which seems super critical if you’re out in the woods) and if you’re like most people, you shoot a big...
Does that specify what wavelength the light is? Cause rocking some IR would make sense if you're doing it with night vision. Seems like you could also throw a little flashlight on your gear and call it good.
I think most of the night hunting is done on private property or hunting clubs if you...
I might consider doing super fancy ammo in something you already have. Buffalo Bore Outdoorsman might make a round for a gun you already have that has the same punch as some 10mms.
You could also take a 45 and make it 45 super if that's an option for you.
Just hunt burds with a double barrel. Problem solved.
unrelated question. I can carry in my truck, rifle or pistol, no permit. I have a permit. Can I have a rifle in my truck if I’m just driving around a WMA (and not hunting?)
Interesting, thanks. Not too far off from 147gn subs.
Would be legal to have a permanent suppressor on it too, since it’s not legally a firearm. May have to look into one one these
