    My son and I shot the Wilson Shoals WMA hunt Sat afternoon. Birds were flying and shots flying. My son got his first dove. I think he's hooked.

    So can you normally set a stand up the day before? Do you just mark off a spot with ribbon or what? I'm planning on trying to avoid the heavy hit areas (close to road, flat land, golf coarse, etc), but I dang sure don't want to walk all that way the morning of only to find out some other guy had...

    It's what I used today. Hornady black ammo. Pierced the skin on back side but did not exit. 75 yard quartering away shot. That gun/bullet will do the job if you do yours. Heres a pic with rifle and another of the recovered bullet.
