    They cancelled the Christmas parade here. I changed all my plans. Not a drop of rain yet. It's 423. I shoulda been a weatherman. I'm wrong most of the time too.

    Wait an hour. Then look in circles until you get back on the trail. I think he's dead.

    That one spot of blood looked like it had a bubble. Seems real bright though. Give him some time then start looking. If it was a pass through, eventually the cavity will fill up with blood and the trail should get better.

    I'd shoot him. I have zero on the ground this year and more time in the stand than anyone I know. Some years ya get the big ones and some years ya get the good eating ones. Bucked out is a fine season. Congrats.

    Little chilly this morning. Walked in blind and set up on a new spot. Made enough noise to scare away deer in 3 counties. Hopefully some of the deer around here are deaf. Good luck y'all.

    Got the 45-70 back out after zeroing today with new ammo. It's good to go now. Now the deer just need to show up.

    Wife is Korean. Don't trust her to make a Thankgiving Feast. She's a great cook, just a different kind of cooking.

    I do all the cooking on Thanksgiving. Went hunting Thanksgiving 2012 and shot a buck that ran straight down a damn cliff almost. Had to call in help to get him out. We had Thanksgiving dinner at 8pm that day. I don't hunt on Thanksgiving anymore. Good luck to you that do. Happy Thanksgiving.

    He don't look too bloated. Meat should be good. Cut out some steaks.

    How's your season so far?

    Having the toughest year I've had in a while. Should be bucked out but I suck at hunting. I have more hours in the stand this year than I did the last 3 years combined. Probably pushing too hard but I'll keep pushing. It's gonna turn around soon.
