Im going to pass this year. Thanks for the heads up though. I'll be chasing them with my boys this year that are 8 & 10 yrs old so im in schooling mode this year not so much in to a "competition" style season. With all that said the boys and I will probably slay them this season!
Awesome place to hunt! I've been on 4 hunts there and really enjoy each of them. Can't wait to get drawn again! 24on48 what part of the island are/did you hunt? I've always hunted the nw corner of island.. 50-60 blocks had good luck each time.
Don't use mine much. But when I do I've got a dsd hen and a avain x jake. The jake has had his tail whipped a few times by other jakes. Other than that just straight weight to tote
just something to think about- it wouldn't be a bad idea to get some kind of info from the fellas that you get your heads from cause the man in green might like it too much if he finds 62 doe heads in your freezer. just a thought. good luck with your project
ive hunted heard for 17 yrs and from thaksgiving to the middle of dec. you better be there.

if on your land you have a lake or pond set up with the water to your back very close if possible. water front. this way they cant come in behind you with the wind.
ours is the same depth as the rocks are stacked up. we dug the hole 1 ft deep then stacked rocks 1ft high around the hole. dont forget cans and glass dont burn they just change shape with heat. enjoy and kepp the stump lighter wood piled high!
