    Beautiful place to watch the world wake up. Had something behind me before light. With only my hearing and imagination to rely on I’m pretty sure it was a Sasquatch. Tried to walk and stalk. Saw some deer before they saw me but couldn’t get near close enough for a shot without being seen.

    I just got invited back to hunt the property I started on :whoo::clap2::dance::bounce: Going Thursday morning. He asked that I use a bow. Well it just so happens I bought a crossbow this year. I’m so excited!!!!!

    Heck I call it a win anytime I get to go. I’m a rookie so seeing a deer in a spot I marked as a place I need to hunt, while exploring last year, is extra cool.

    So what happens to the meat? My processor has a hunters for the hungry sign outside his door. I’ve only killed one deer in two seasons, but I only need two or three to fill my freezer. If I fill my freezer and want to donate the rest of the meat to friends, family or a food bank should I quit...

    Yeah $100 isn’t bad. And now I’m in a total of $850 for what is pretty much a brand new bow. I’m looking forward to sitting in the blind with it.
