But how accurate are recurves and longbows? Been told compounds are more accurate and easier to shoot. Of course the only experience I have with bows are traditional aka longbows and that's going back like 25 years ago so idk. Is there anywhere I can go to try different bows out?
I can understand your frustration and believe me the reason I started this thread was to get some advice and avoid any potential conflicts out in the woods
Thanks cooter. I believe its just for deer/bear hunts. Could be wrong though. Would love to go on a deer hunt but will definitely find someone experienced first. Not gonna go alone.
Yea I read up on Wilson Shoals and people say there isn't much wildlife. Just the opposite with Lake Russell. But lake russell can also be packed with hunters so idk
I have been reading up on the DNR website as well as bought numerous magazine's and books. Just wasn't sure of the sign in and dates but I do appreciate the advice. Guess I just need to get out there
Well I finally decided to start hunting and figured what better way then with some squirrels and maybe try sum deer. My question is is there a particular schedule for hunting squirrel at either lake Russell or Wilson shoals WMA? These are the closest to me. Also do u have to sign up before u do...
