    Personally 30-06 over either 308 or 270. You can load it to shoot about as flat as a 270 or thump something closer with a 200gr round. Best all around deer gun there is IMHO

    Hunted an old overgrown field yesterday afternoon that I planted 2 food plots in on either end of it. Saw 6 does total, not a buck in sight, which is a good thing cause I'm bucked out anyway.

    Happens to everyone sooner or later. Happened to me during muzzleloader week. Shot a big 10 that I had on camera. found blood, thought I made a good quartering shot, got a tracking dog but still never found him. I'm still tore up over it and picture it in my mind every hour seems like.

    I saw 2 bucks and 2 does yesterday afternoon. both does came in together and both bucks, 4&7, cam in together. Was kinda weird for November to me

    Didn’t hunt this morning, I’m bucked out and needed some rest. Went and checked my camera behind my house around 2 this afternoon hoping I’d get a bunch of does on camera. Had 3 does and this good un at 10:25 this morning. Might see if my daughter or son in law wants to hunt him this...
