  1. Is this a bobcat or mountain lion on trail camera in cartersville?

I’m assuming you are pulling my leg. That’s exactly the same as the most common Bigfoot story as well. lol… But truthfully. There aren’t any here.
  2. Is this a bobcat or mountain lion on trail camera in cartersville?

Big house cats? There is no such species as a black panther. I have however seen a few escaped exotics over the years. Saw a monkey in Floyd County, and have trail cam pics of an African Caracal down by Macon. Was almost hired to trap it. But the landowner decided to just let it stay. lol…
  3. Is this a bobcat or mountain lion on trail camera in cartersville?

That’s a proven false location: that pic was from another country. It makes its rounds a few times a year.
  4. Is this a bobcat or mountain lion on trail camera in cartersville?

100% house cat I’m a professional predator trapper in Georgia. There are no wild large cats besides bobcats anywhere in Georgia.

Relocating raccoons is illegal in Georgia. Spreads disease and they die a slow long death any way being out in new territory. .22 to the head and dispose of properly.

  10. Coyote hunting

While I don't call them, I do trap them professionally. Coyote behavior comes down to a few basics. They can smell amazingly well. And when I say amazingly well I mean they can smell where you walked three days ago. But... most coyotes don't freak out over human smell as they smell it all the...
  11. Pine Log hogs

From the regs for Pine Log WMA: No furbearer hunting allowed...
  12. Pine Log hogs

Interesting, the regs do list fox and bobcat under the small game section and both are considered fur barriers. I've not heard of this "exception" before. I may have to call and see if other WMA's would allow it.
  13. Pine Log hogs

Small game weapons are rimfires, muzzloaders, archery equipment, and shotguns but nothing larger then #2 shot. (So no slugs or buckshot) I'm headed down to the coast to hog hunt Altamaha WMA for a long weekend at the end of the month. Bringing my .50 cal muzzloader.
  14. Show your catch Trappers.

Here are a few from my nuisance predator line in the last month or so. I trap full time year round. And mainly only work with coyotes, beavers, and foxes. Up to 7 black ones since September.
  15. Show your catch Trappers.

Georgia has a healthy population of Bobcats.. one of the top 10 States with the highest population. So besides the monetary value they also are removed for predator Control. Last years reported catch from recreational Trappers for bobcats was 6000+. And DNR reports the population is steady and...
  16. Ga Alligator season-2018

I was hoping to get drawn this year with 4 points down in zone 7 , but nope have to wait until next year. Killed a nice one on my last tag a few years back. Most exciting hunt I do...
  17. DNR phone call

As a professional trapper I can tell you without a doubt it is the massively high populations of coyotes and raccoons killing all the turkeys and eggs. And it's the coyotes destroying our fawns.
  18. First 90 Kangaroos released in Wyoming

Kangaroo is excellent tasting. I'd be down for a hunt:
  19. Anybody killing any yotes?

If anyone wants some professional help with them. I trap coyotes (and all predators) for a living. www.predatorcontrolservices.com
  20. Quota Hunts

The Chattahoochee Bend hunt is a pile up. I did it 2 years ago. A tree stand every hundred yards anywhere the road goes. I did get a nice big doe and saw a couple of nice bucks get shot. But my advice is get their early to hang your stand and get as far back as possible. Might want to scout...
