    Finally crossed something off my bucket list

    I have killed a small 6 pointer with my Ruger 44 magnum. He was about 35 yards away. I aimed for his chest and hit him in the head:) I may break out the S&W 500 this weekend. I want to see what those 700 grain bullets will do to a deer.

    I have a CVA Optima Elite in .45 cal and a CVA Accura V2 in .50 cal. I have the CVA V2 pistol in .50 as well and I would love to kill a deer with it. So if I go I will be toting it.

    Best: Well, I only stepped foot twice in the woods last year. And I got a small buck with some 308 handload that I made. Worst: That I did not kill one the only other time I went in the woods.
