  1. I always wanted to hunt coyotes in the snow, but living in Georgia...

I’ve read it’s very unique, but to compare to something maybe a little like pork, tender like duck with a slight liver taste to it. I’m not a fan of liver flavor so until the apocalypse comes and I have to eat it…someone else tell us about the experience.
  2. I always wanted to hunt coyotes in the snow, but living in Georgia...

Nice shooting sir! I hear them at the house almost every dern night. I think they hang out on the mountain across the way. I never see them venture down to my property. I wonder if the 17 hmr with a well placed headshot would be appropriate.
  3. I always wanted to hunt coyotes in the snow, but living in Georgia...

Sorry that wasn’t a serious answer. People eat it. Best to put in a stew, something like chili. I never have. Given no other options I would. Must be cooked up to a high temp. No medium rare on it !
  4. I always wanted to hunt coyotes in the snow, but living in Georgia...

You can eat anything you put in your mouth and swallow!
  5. Trespassing

This guy has all the answers!
  6. Coyote... Want to know a sure fire way to P.O. the wife

I read it as he shot the coyote and the cat in the bed scratched his wife due to the gunshot scaring it.
  7. Opening day of turkey season. Show what ya got.

Put two of these in the fridge this morning!
  8. Opening day of turkey season. Show what ya got.

    Gemma Atkinson! Hubba Hubba
  9. Anyone else extremely ready for deer season and cooler weather?

Not much into deer hunting, but damn!! Please bring on the cool weather! I'm dying in the warehouse without AC!!!
  10. Possibly dumb questions from a non-hunter about Central GA Deer

Not a dumb question. They are rare, but known as melanistic. http://www.thejump.net/hunting/4-hunting-6/whitetail-pictures-11.htm http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/blackfawn.asp
  11. I saw a wolf?? tonight in the woods behind my house

There are known wolf populations in NC and possibly in TN, so why wouldn't it be possible that there was one here? Like mentioned, try to get a wildlife cam pic! http://www.wolf.org/wolves/learn/wow/regions/United%5FStates/
  12. Deer ran right up to me

Very cool. There were tons of deer on Lake Lanier Islands. I played golf out there sometimes and they were completely used to humans. Wouldn't hardly move out of your way.
  13. 18 pointer

As I was about to click on this I said to myself I bet its Coolio again.
  14. New Georgia Corn laws??

If u enter the woods in camouflage with a rifle during deer season, what are you trying to accomplish? If it is something other than to kill a deer then tell me what you are attempting to accomplish.
  15. New Georgia Corn laws??

It's not about the $ or hauling a bag of corn around. Bringing in deer to a significant amount of hunting land is one thing. But setting up shop right next to where they feed and blasting them is ridiculous. There is no sport in that and any fool can do it. I don't see how anyone could feel...
  16. New Georgia Corn laws??

You have the key word here. It's the mentality that is prevalent these days. Everybody wants everything conveniently right in front of them so they don't have to work for it. Pretty pathetic really.
  17. New Georgia Corn laws??

I don't get it either. There is no skill involved at all. Not what I would call hunting.
  18. New Georgia Corn laws??

Oh they are there. I can sit in my parents backyard in the city limits of Gainesville and count more than 5 in one evening.
  19. Lost hunting land and job......

Damn man. Sorry to hear about this. You will bounce back. Things always work out in the end. Keep your head up and stay positive. Did your loss of employment actually have to do with the trespassing hunters?
  20. Need some shotgun recommendations!

The US Special Forces probably don't do much bird hunting or skeet shooting. Probably not the best choice for either type of shooting that the OP described.
