    Work has been crazy busy the past few months. Today was the 1st day I have had off in 9 weeks. I realized we haven't kayaked in over a year, so the little one and I spent the day paddling and fishing. We didn't catch a thing, but I really enjoyed getting out and spending the day with my buddy.

    My youngest likes the idea of fishing, but gets bored when we aren't catching anything. So, lots of times we look along the bank for lures. I enjoy this as much as fishing.

    Man, I'm gonna have to get down to Little River. I grew up in Woodstock and we would fish at the dam for white bass in the spring. I have never paddled it.

    I am in the commercial millwork business, so I understand. I fish on Sundays sometimes. No, you really need to be dropped off or picked up. In spots the current is a little to swift.

    Awesome. If you ever get up to Cartersville, PM me and we will fish the Etowah. Last Sunday I caught around 30 spots and shoal bass.
