    I did 40 miles yesterday with our Saturday morning group and got caught in a cold thunderstorm about 10 miles from Rome. I rode all through the winter but not as much as warm weather months.

    Did a week of canoe camping in Quietico Provincial park across border from the Boundry Waters back in the early 1990s. Was an awesome trip and I learned the word portage is French Canadian for the word HELL.

    60 miles this morning with our usual Saturday morning group. Only 5 of us today but we ended with a 19.0.

    Didn't get the usual fast group ride yesterday morning due to the rain. 7 of us did a 45 mile route this afternoon. Rome-Cave Spring-Cedartown-Rome. A great day to ride except for the wind, but hey it's March. 19.1 mph average for the whole route.

    I know that's right. Also tired of the head wind and cross winds. I did get a total of 140 miles last week. I will be under 100 for this week.

    The bike does help to a certain point then it's all about the rider and how much pain you can stand and how hard you are willing to push yourself.
