I haven’t been fortunate enough to see any pileated or red headed woodpeckers yet. Still, I’m getting plenty of Red-bellied and Downy woodpeckers here in my backyard.
I’ll tell yuh I’ve tried getting good pictures but with an iPhone 11 after zooming in my pictures look horrible. Thinking about getting a camera and taking up hiking to go out bird watch and snap some great pictures
Yeah I’d say I’m hooked now. Planning on adding more feeders and seed variety to feed more birds this winter. Currently seeing about 6-7 different species and enjoying every minute of it.

Took up bird watching/feeding this past year. I have a new visitor today and hope y’all can help me identify. Larger than a house finch and also has a longer beak, similar to a carolina wren. Thanks
