I was at the Talking Rock Post Office one day and a guy came in with a specialized cardboard box that had some kind of young chickens in it to mail off somewhere. Some kind of special red rooster.
Interesting reading....I've often wondered about them. I never saw one when I was in 1968-76. I never really started seeing them until the late 80s or 90s, frankly. I know my dad who did 1939-1964 never got one, at least none were ever in what he left when he died.

Yes....and I believe there are various mom and pop hobby stores and outlets that do business through them so you can look there and then see who the actual sellers are...
