I have some gourds out but nothing has moved into them. Is there a trick to getting them to find them? I'm thinking that they aren't high enough off of the ground. I have them about 6' up.
You'll take a hit selling them all as one lump to a retailer or store. they'll want to turn their money on them as well. If you have time to sit on them a little and price them out yourself you can put them on ebay. They should be easy enough to ship as well.

Do you already have a router? If so I would build my own table if doing anything of size. The small aluminum ones you buy in a store aren't very stable
Sounds like you need a bigger bit to help with drilling a little out of square. I would think you could put caulk or silicone into the hole and that would fix any wobble you might have in it. An 8 inch deep hole is going to be difficult to drill I don't think a paddle bit would do it.
