  1. Ever been asked to see tax stamp?

I believe that's a code violation, althought I haven't read the regs in a long time, so I can't recall whether or not it's a serious violation and whether or not you have a chance to cure it by producing the stamp later. Certainly not worth risking your time or money to find out. In the grand...
  2. Ever been asked to see tax stamp?

A range master asked you? They can't compel you to show it, but they have a right to not allow you to shoot if you don't show it. Your 4th Amendment rights end where their private property rights begin. And vice versa.
  3. Ruger Silent SR

Bill Ruger has been dead for more than 15 years. Companies outlive their owners. Management changes. Policies change. Marketplaces change. S&W committed plenty of gun control sin during the same era. The good news, it's been bought and sold a few times since then, and the new ownership...
  4. Huntertown Arms Closing Shop

Also sorry to read this. I have a Guardian 9. It's been an excellent, versatile can. I like what Huntertown Arms did. They put out some innovative products. Their integrated 10/22 barrel looked really promising. Maybe somebody will buy the assets.
  5. Multi cal can?

I shoot a HTA 9mm Guardian on a 300BLK (subsonic), 38 special (H&R single shot) and 22LR. My 22LR host is a S&W 2206, which has a very low barrel axis, so the sights are visible, even with a 9mm can. The suppressor works well on all of them. Just not stout enough for full throttle .30 cal...
  6. 9mm can on a .22?

I use a Guardian 9 with 38 special and 22LR. It gets dirtier faster with on the 22LR guns, but not that big a deal to scrub it clean. Call it a labor of love. Quiet enough to let me shoot without disturbing the neighbors or use hearing protection, which was what I wanted out of my "one size...
  7. Huntertown Arms Guardian 9 Review with Pics. . .

The important thing is that you get a product you are happy with, including after the sale service if there is a problem. Let us know how it turns out.
  8. Huntertown Arms Guardian 9 Review with Pics. . .

I picked up my Guardian 9 on Friday, from David at Classic City Firearms. It's excellent. I put 70 rounds of my own 38 special 125 grain cast handloads through it, via with an H&R 357 Mag Handi Rifle. Accuracy was excellent, sound suppression was great. Nice to shoot comfortably without...
