    I'm a 10/22 lover. The bolt action ultimately will be quieter, and allow you to reliably fire 700+ FPS ammo. However, I'm not willing to trade the semi auto 10/22 for a single shot bolt gun...the decibel difference is just not worth it in my opinion. Standard velocity ammo is still subsonic...

    Sounds good. I actually don't mind the weight as it is going on a 16" barrel which will hopefully balance out the weapon a little bit. How'd you manage to only pay $400?
