    I'm shooting a hybrid 46 on my G21 with no issues. But I'll admit it's nicer and feels better from 1911 platform. Now G44 or 22LR conversion on my G17 is ditto what you say. In fact it's so nasty I'm pretty much just Ruger MK variants now for suppressed pistol rimfire

    Not sure if you purchased yet but silencerco has 30% off site wide right now. I went ahead and ordered a piston and 1/2-28 direct thread mount and saved a little cash.

    That's what she said! I've got a Hybrid 46 in jail and will need to purchase a piston soon myself. Have had a threaded barrel for my G21 for many years with no use!!

    My first can was AAC Prodigy ($150 so I guess you could call it a cheap one??) and it has been great with probably 2000+ rounds thru it. I think proper care/maintenance is the most important factor.
