I have some factory Sigs with metric thread and yes, it is annoying. I caved and bought another can that stays setup for 1/2x28 while the other is for any piston.
I also have a few SiCo barrels. I took a new one back out last year because of the shift on aim. Did not realize this was a...
Never had a reason to try them on the same gun. I did ask silencerco once about which would be better on 300 wm. I was surprised when they said use the omega.
I had the same question a few years ago, started with Silencerco Omega, then others.
You could start with a Hybrid and cover everything but .22. Omega is my fav but not rated for 9.
Once you start using it you will see why you want more than one. It is nice to have one set for direct thread...
if not the 1911, for 45 I like FNX and Sig 227, both have a tactical model with raised sights and threaded. Or you could get a non-tac model and buy the barrel.
Good multi purpose option, especially if you want it for rifle too.

@will4me - you referring to the Lage list for the M11 upper?
I was #6?? something and they said 7 months out from now. Only problem is I need to find an M11 before then.
You do not have to use a dealer for an in state transfer but you would need to find a buyer that is okay with you holding the item until paperwork clears.
Others will jump on this later today with more details but in short, you have to involve a dealer in your (receiving) home State. And I think there is a cost involved to transfer to that dealer, and then again to you. It stays with the dealer while you wait on approval. If you are buying from an...
I run Octane, Omega, & Hybrid. All of these are lighter than the Specwar and versatile. The weight does not seem to bother me on any of these. I run these on the SBR, 556, 308, handguns. The SBR has a special charging handle to hold the gas out of my face. Work ok, not a complete solution. Have...
