    if not the 1911, for 45 I like FNX and Sig 227, both have a tactical model with raised sights and threaded. Or you could get a non-tac model and buy the barrel.

    Good multi purpose option, especially if you want it for rifle too. Yes, you will need Pistons for pistols. You can also change the endcap for direct thread. I think mine came with both end caps and no Pistons.

    So let's assume one or all of us get this adapter. It's already a registered receiver so it seems you could put any upper setup on it, correct? I am thinking something relatively short for this setup.

    @will4me - you referring to the Lage list for the M11 upper? I was #6?? something and they said 7 months out from now. Only problem is I need to find an M11 before then.
