I just spoke with a wonderful lady on the phone at the Federal Firearms Licensing Center who told me that the form 20 can actually be emailed to them at nfafax@atf.gov
Anyone tried this yet?
I have a direct thread ThunderBeast Arms Ultra 9 and couldn't be any more happy with it. They can be order to accept mounts as well if you must have that option.
Also look into the Dobbs Defense ARC30 that @Nonliberal and crew are making.
Some of the best suppressors on the market IMHO.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to file the teeth. You can sand the shoulder in front of the teeth and get it to lock up solid. The idea is to get it to rotate to the next tooth. If you do too much though you will be right back in the same boat. Its really just a pain in the ass to fix something...
That is correct. It is the 9" version of the SDN-6. They have a new model as well with a different core than the original. Mine has an old tube but new core.
The bulk of the mount doesn't so much bother me as the lockup not being solid. I have tried several different mount on several...
I have the 7.62 SD. I have had several good experiences with AAC but that was before the Freedom Group buy out and I can't speak to anything after that.
I actually like the suppressor a lot. The mounts not so much.
I was going off of when it withdrew from my checking account. Either way the ATF had to cash it on the 20th or 21st and I have never seen one in pending status that quickly.
ThunderBeast Arms Ultra 9
Purchased - 1/23/2015
Form 3 to Dealer - 7/6/2015
Form 4 Mailed - 7/16/2015
Form 4 Arrived - 7/18/2015

I called yesterday and got a pending date of 7/20/2015. Anyone every heard of a Form 4 in Pending status before the check was even cashed?
Do you have to show paperwork to anyone?
I was thinking anyone other than ATF asking to see paperwork could go POAR.
I do have my trust and all forms saved on a protected flash drive that stays on my keychain though.

Class 3 items will drain your bank account. I have 2 - SBR's (AR and 10/22) and 2 suppressors (.22 and .30) with another .30 already paid for and I can't even file for the stamp yet. Hell, Thunderbeast hasn't even made the thing yet. So not only do I have the form 4 wait time, I also have to...
If you can't have it as quiet as possible, might as well make it loud as possible.
I figure if I can give everyone a headache, maybe they wont shoot for **** and I can walk away with some prizes.
AAC 7.62-SD on my Remington 700 AAC-SD .308 changes my POI down 2 MOA. I know this because I shot the endcap last Saturday and had to make some adjustments while it is being fixed.
