Second Suppressor inbound...
Decided to go with the Silencerco Octane 45 HD - Form 4 Individual
SS Kiosk: 10/26/19
Doccusign: 10/28/19
And now the wait begins.
Still need fingerprint cards, send two copies to the ATF NFA office. Once submitted you'll get an email with the cover letter you need to include, it also has the address.
I think the partial govt. shutdown had a little to do with extended times as they catch up. I submitted mine on March 7, and am chomping at the bit to order parts.
I have a Dead Air Sandman-S (first can) and have been more than happy with it. The Nomad seems like a nice can as well, with the E-Brake helping reduce the report by a few more decibels. The mask will probably be my next NFA purchase after my SBR stamp comes back.
My hosts are 300 blk pistol...
It's offered as a direct thread, but can also utilize the muzzle device Key-mo attachment method. Can't wait to hear (no pun intended) some reviews about this one and how it compares to say the Sandman-K or Sandman-S. Its right between the two in length and closer to the K in weight.
Thanks @Lazarus that makes so much sense! I kept seeing pending and pending FBI and thought there was more to it, or that I was missing something when they said just pending.
Quick question about the order of things. When they say pending, vs as posted above pending FBI background check what exactly does that mean? Do you go check cashed, pending x date, pending FBI background, then pending again? Whats the work flow look like?
