I have things spaced throughout my carry on and backpack, nail clippers, ferry Rod, s&w pen, instant coffee, water purification, batteries, flashlights, zip ties, 550 cord, sewing kit, zip ties, etc... Just have it spaced between rolling bag, shave kit, and backpack. Not at all tactical... -

I love machetes and have tons of them in many shapes and sizes but bug out gets a cold steel trail hawk. For chopping/splitting/throwing/hammering it is just more versatile and can be carried without the handle so it is very easy to shape a sapling handle if I ever need to use it. The head... -
