I gave up on them about a decade ago. Used to be incredible customer service. Also warranties on their products no matter how long you and them.
Prices have gone up so much that the warranty has gone down so much it's just not feasible to shop there.
You are so lucky to have water. That being said, in an SHTF everyone within 100 miles of that lake will be thinking "Water and fish, holiday home I can take over." Get your water working and up your security. You are going to need good people to hold that location.
Cancer and SHTF Don't really go together.
They need to leave. And get to a place where she can be comfortable. The world has not ended. There's no reason for them to hang out at the house in her condition.

I am thinking 75 rounds of 40sw for my glock 22 in 4 mags. 2x 15round mags and 2x 22round glock fun sticks, + 1 in the chamber. And going to stay CCW.

So what would you have in your get home pack? I am talking about the general area 10 to 50 miles to get home. What would you carry and how much (food, ammo, weapons, gear)? How do you navigate? Are there bridges or roads that could be closed or destroyed?
