    Plugged in the generator and ran it from 6PM Sunday until 12PM today when the power was restored. Started right up and ran flawlessly. Battery trickle charger and non ethanol gas are the key along with occasionally starting it when it is not needed. I would like to again thank @NWSharpshooter...

    Running the Ford Dual Fuel generator now with the power out. Fridge, internet, tv and AC on. Thanks again to @NWSharpshooter for the post about the HD sale and to @10thmountain for starting this thread. According GA Power 3+ hours before it is back on.

    I felt the same way after Zeta; I was without power for 4 days afterwards. I believe the last time it was out that long may have been Opal in 1995. Otherwise it was only out for a day or so from an ice storm or a neighbor's pine tree falling during a storm.

    Yes, it increased from $899 to $1184. $899 was a great price for it.

Based on your posts I bought the Ford dual fuel generator when it was on sale at HD. I could not find an interlock specifically designed for the panel...
