    growing your own food is great if you have high walls and 24 hr surveillance..not possible in SHTF situation...hunting is great if you live somewhere to hunt..most urban and some what rural trapping is better small game and whatnot..it is easier to open a MRE or can and more portable..let all...

    being a prepper and survival skills are a must for any one but..be it tough or smart..its a 50/50 gamble when hunting for stuff ..that an pure dumb luck. having a plan and sticking to it .. and finding use for every day things used differently than designed is the key to survival

    i looked that over and not much difference in loss gain ratio staying vs going out..but the account management fees went up during that period..so technically you would still have a loss..but every one has there limits to stomach the panic..the only thing i worry about would be a total...

    true..but many people that pull out or pull back never realize the gain when the market corrects..or forget to reallocate there funds..that's why I state that staying the course will net your loses back..may take time but it will gain momentum..too many people see there portfolio as a bank...

    true ..but as a retirement fund those allocations should be left alone..the more in/out of different risk portfolios the less you will gain any of your money back,unless you pay someone to manage your day to day trading..which is losing money IMHO..its best left alone..long term..now obviously...

    A HUGE SECOND TO THAT....unless you're a day trader..you will see fluctuations and corrections..don't panic don't look at the numbers put all that aside and ride it out it will change and it will go back up..long haul investments should always stay put..but if you do want to minimize your risk...
