  1. In doubt of 9mm being best for prepping

300 blackout, not really. You seem to have ignored where I mention 450 bushmaster. That round along with 458 socom, and 50 beuwolf were created for things like disabling vehicles.

I would argue you could go for an M&P as well. There have been a growing number of agencies and such that have left glock and moved to other platforms like the M&P.
  3. In doubt of 9mm being best for prepping

I am curious to see what it sells for when released. At shot show a company announced a lever action rifle that runs are uppers and magazines. That would be cool to get a lever action in a caliber like 450 bushmaster, or a similar round. Plus running an 870 stock means new calibers and stocks...

I would love to see this happen. Magazine feel, size, and weight are very different.

That is one reason, I want to move out away from the city. Better to be out there before anything happens then to try to get out there after. Even if still viewed as an "outsider" be the people of that area they atleast know who you are rather then being a complete stranger.
  8. In doubt of 9mm being best for prepping

If you are bugging out in a vehicle as well. Then could have a second upper and ammo for it. Which it could be a heavier round like 450 bushmaster or 300 blackout. which it would be specifically for hunting but also works to knock vehicles out of commission.
  9. In doubt of 9mm being best for prepping

It is easier to keep two rounds because 223 and 9mm are so commonly available. Weight wise you can fairly easily carry 6-8 rifle mags and 4-6 pistol mags. The set up I had at one point as a g23 and 4 or so mags, 9mm conversion barrel plus 4-6 mags, and then the rifle and mags for it. The would...
  10. Biggest and Most Common Blunders Made by Preppers

One should always keep a good stock of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and naproxen sodium on hand. Definitely a large stock of other first aid supplies as well.
  11. Biggest and Most Common Blunders Made by Preppers

Definitely salt, also don't forget smokehouse type treatment or turning it into jerky.
