I haven’t smoked in a long time, but I remember traveling to Central America and leaving Atlanta, I bought a duty free carton of camels. I didn’t think anything of it, but when I tried the local
cigarettes in Belize, it was terrible. Pretty sure even old stale American tobacco would still be...
I stay away from their branded items. I have had a REI sleeping pad fail on me one night and it was miserable. Had a tent from them that started deteriorating after 2 years and they did not honor the lifetime warranty that they stated when I bought it. I do buy stuff there if it is on sale...
The virus is genetically closer to the SARS virus than the flu. The actual name of the virus is SARS-CoV-2. The WHO named the disease COVID-19. As it spreads beyond the borders of China, if the mortality rate grows, it puts into question the numbers published by their government.
I believe it. They got the virus a few weeks ago and then made enough to send out to all the research labs. One of our labs at work just got it in yesterday and started work right away and will probably be putting in some serious hours.

Those don’t look like chanterelles to me. We always pick them when we see them, but the color seems a little light. Check the underside, if there are gills they are not chanterelles.
If a nuke hit Atlanta, Georgia would become Mississippi instantly and I’d have a front row seat for the best fireworks show in town. If it hit anywhere else in the state, no one would really know the difference.
I bought a big Mountain House meals kit once and ate nothing but that over a weekend hiking trip. It's okay taste wise, but the voracious fumes that fill the tent at night would have gagged a maggot.
I may take a MH meal or two with me on a trip now, but stick to oatmeal, ramen, instant rice, etc.
I have wondered about installing such at my house. I am currently upgrading the automatic transfer switches at two buildings to new closed transition systems that are pretty neat. They constantly monitor commercial power and at any sign of trouble, crank the generator, synchronize, and switch...
