8 years old. September 1978. My Father, although not much of a shooter, took me to an abandoned rock quarry on the edge of the Everglades. Marlin model 81 DL bolt action .22 and his old model Ruger single six were the first guns I fired. 46 years later and the allure is still there!
Back in the paleothic period, I cleaned out Brock's Army Navy of their compete Fiocchi inventory. At least 15k SPP and 3k SR primers with zero issues. BTW I paid $8.99/1K....🙄
What is funny is that you can tell those who bought their "noisemaker" during the AWB.. 10 rapid shots only. Hey, it is their semi-annual function check without paying for the range. So they do recoup some cost, I suppose....
RIP, Mr. Glock. It was a Saul to Paul conversion for me. The Cadillac of cheap pistols. In my experience, the best hard use pistol extant. I know there are others, but Glock designed pistols to be fully serviced in the field, including extractor replacement with the 3/32" Glock tool pin...
Absolutely not. Billy-Joe Jim Bob could stuff as much blue dot as that 9mm case could hold. I like my fingers and hands JUST the way they are. I would smile and be gracious and pull it down for components, and have a bon fire with the powder.
