  1. WWII Scale model’s

Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind, ancient Academy kit. A few more washes etc and it’ll be good enough for the shelf.
  2. WWII Scale model’s

Latest wip, Flakpanzer IV. Good bit of detailing and replacing the kit parts with leftover parts from modern kits. This kit originally dated from the 70’s. Some Huns to give it some life. Almost ready for paint.
  3. WWII Scale model’s

Stug IIIG with a grenadier. Finally got it finished up.
  4. Sci-Fi model

    Fantastic work!
  5. WWII Scale model’s

No, most come with the kit’s nowadays. I do have some brass sheet to make the occasional small part.
  6. WWII Scale model’s

Latest wip, Stug IIIG. Scratch built some rails, side skirts, and most of the rear rack. Added bolt detail etc. Almost ready for the paint booth.
  7. WWII Scale model’s

Few minor details to finish up but basically done. Only had two decals give me trouble, crosses on the upper wings.
  8. WWII Scale model’s

Post up some pics if you have any. I use the airbrush about 85% of the time. I suck at brush painting on a good day, lol.
  9. WWII Scale model’s

    The finished V-1.
  10. WWII Scale model’s

Slowly making progress. The white stripes aren’t correct on the 190 but look the part. I’m to inept to cut masking strips a consistent thickness so I just used 2mm tamiya tape. Painting the 190 was a challenge, all the masking required. The camo was done freehand with the airbrush except around...
  11. WWII Scale model’s

Something I found interesting was the size of the V1. Always thought it was a lot smaller. Here compared next to a 190 and a figure for scale. History nerd stuff, lol.
  12. WWII Scale model’s

I might can do a small vignette. I’m currently working on a couple of Luftwaffe vignette‘s that I hope to finish in a week or so. I’ll look through the figure sets I have.
  13. WWII Scale model’s

Good to have you following along and looking forward to seeing the builds. Definitely some talented artisans in here. What do you thin the Vallejo acrylics with? I spray a variety of brands without issue but have had very limited success spraying Vallejo thinned with h2o. No problems with a...
  14. WWII Scale model’s

Gonna call this one finished. I could probably spend a few more hours on it but I’m ready to move on to the next one. At some point I may go back and add slings and a few other minor details.
  15. WWII Scale model’s

My latest wip. Sdkfz. 251/9 “Stummel”. Pretty close to the finish line.
  16. WWII Scale model’s

That’s fantastic, looking forward to seeing the builds. Fwiw I use an Iwata Neo and a Tamiya Sprayworks Superfine Hg airbrushes. Mostly the Tamiya now. Both are super easy to use, clean etc. Relatively cheap too. Welcome back!
  17. Chop On

This is exactly what I was thinking. Rebuild the staff around Strider/Fried. After this second ass whooping from Philly it seems Snit can’t actually manage the “moment”. I enjoy a good distraction. Sure as hell beats stressing all the time. To be fair this site is a distraction and...
  18. Chop On

  19. WWII Scale model’s

Just needs a flat coat. Pretty fun project of a unique subject.
  20. WWII Scale model’s

Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated. I’ll try to take some pics of everything more or less grouped together. @CQB27 bring some glue and an xacto. I have enough kits for you and @palmettomoon to stay busy for months, lol. Awesome.
