    Th This is where I’m at this point. It doesn’t need the spring/detent. I guess I was just hung up on forward most screw that holds the side plate is hollow, like something is missing. Thanks for the input.

    Yes the front plate screw. It’s larger and hollowed out like it should hold a spring and detent. Yes you are correct about the about the push button to change cylinders. It does appear that a spring combo would not engage the yoke but seems odd to still have the hollowed out front plate screw...

    There are not many videos of the 692. The only schematic I saw looks like there is no spring and detent, I‘m just not sure.

    I recently picked up one of these on a trade. I have a few other Taurus revolvers but this one has interchangeable cylinders. The screw that would normally hold the spring and detent for the yoke had nothing under it. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated and thanks.

    I do have a heavy buffer and specific spring. I do have 600 rounds through this combo without any issues. I shoot off my back deck and pick up the brass, never seeing a single round that has a bulge or anything. What's the thought with a bad round? Too much power? Thanks

    I was shooting a steel target and the shot prior was a hit, then the out of battery. Once I cleared the gun the first thing I did was check the barrel to make sure it wasn't blocked.

    Anyone else have some input. I did find the buffer detent was bent pretty bad but I’m having a hard time seeing how that would cause an out of battery discharge. Thanks

    It has run 600 rounds with zero feeding issues. The rounds that blew up outside the breach had a normal primer strike and the bullet made it out of the barrel.

    I have a few Special Operations Equipment (SOE) that are over 10 years old that still look brand new. I have a couple cobra buckles but really prefer their low profile belts.

  20. Help with my AR-15

    A lot of good suggestions, make sure the bolt isn’t filled with oil around the firing pin. It can have a hydraulic effect and slow the firing pin down.
