I had one foot done a couple decades ago, the other one I just let ride until the nerves died. Surgery will take all in all, about three to six month to recover, each foot.

I don’t like CLPs as they tend to be more messy and the gun is “wet” without cleaning the individual parts.
Cleaner, then good gun oil, which BTW is similar to Air tool oil.

Everything can be fixed, but at some point you will be making repairs more and more often. Really depends on your tolerance for repairs.
