    Know of what you speak before inserting opinion is my lesson learned, thank you kind folks. I have not been to an Appleseed competition/event however was always of the opinion that it was for teaching youth basic marksmanship, safety and historical use of firearms. Guess it's more than that...

    Semi-auto not good idea for appleseed. Rossi makes a decent pump action modeled after the original Winchester. Holds 22 Rds. of .22 Short or 17 Rds. of .22 LR, was used as arcade gun until the libs. infiltrated reason.
