    Forget the fal. I went to GunBroker and took a look at current prices and they have gotten stupid. I would suggest that you start out with a Springfield Saint in 308 or one of the new Ruger ar10s.to get an idea if like the platform. They are heavy .

    I'll wait until they come out with a $20,000 Gucci ar 10 clone before I give my opinion. But from experience I say fal because I put many thousands of rds thru one. Go to one of the fal matches they have and watch.

    Years ago tapco was selling the straight mags for something like $7 each. I ordered a few even tho I didn't have a mp5 at the time. Supposedly the straight mags were for the mp5 sd. That's why they have a SD on them.

    I buy the big box of assorted Lance crackers at Sam's and put 4 or 5 packs in a small cooler along with water. $15 for lunch anywhere now. For every $10 I save buys more ammo.

    From what I understand if you use a FFL to do the transfer or even sell to a FFL you're still considered a dealer.

    45K dream on. My youngest daughter sells those things. CA vans is the company . She travels all over the country to rv shows. The vans are nice tho. 4x4 fully self contained. Daughter on the right other girl is the bosses wife.
