    I love my P227 Carry SAS Gen2. Fit and finish are just as good as any of the P220s I have had. Mags are expensive and it carries (size and weight) the same as the M11-A1 I got rid of. I must confess due to the width of the short double stack magazine the pistol is not a joy to practice/shoot one...

    I bought a G19 Gen4 on Thursday (1/14) from the LGS and there was not a spent case in the box.

    I have not shot the MK25 but I do love my M11-A1. You will find prices vary pretty good on them depending were you go, so shop around. I am finding that most holsters recommended for a 229 are also recommended for the M11. The slide is heavier than the 228 so watch out on fitted/kydex holsters...

    Edited: My comments were for the recent railed Beretta 92 Compact so they will not apply to older models. I loved mine, DA was real smooth with the D spring. But I traded it in on a Sig M11-A1 because I need night sights on my pistols (especially carry guns) due to working the night shift...

  8. Recommendations on SA/DA .45ACP

    I have never shot a FNX or the P227, but I am on my 3rd P220. Lots of flavors (depending on what you want to spend) but I kind of think the P220 sets the standard for a DA/SA 45acp. I encourage you to rent and shoot one before buying and I would bet once you do you will compare other 45s to it.

    I bought mine in 2001, can't kill it. I put night sights on it awhile back, HK locally did it. You can also swap out just the barrel and make it a 357sig. http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-USPC-357-Sig-Barrel-198p1902.htm#.U7OF4ctOWbw I have seen the barrel cheaper on EBay.
