    My wife works for one of said carriers in Alpharetta and it is 95% remote. She makes the 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive a few times a month for meetings and such. Easy trade off for great pay.

    Lanier can actually fish better in the afternoon's from now through late summer. Look up the generation schedule and be on the water during those times. I'd key in from Three Sisters and further south...Young Deer, Six Mile, Bald Ridge. Finding submerged humps is an easy way to start graphing...

    I have a number of Yildiz guns from O/U to semi-auto's. Every single one of them has been flawless. I have a number of friends and family that have picked them up after seeing or using mine and theirs have functioned just the same.

    Those numbers are going to continue to go down and eventually cease to exist under the current stockings. We've had no stripers stocked for two years now and honestly don't feel very confident going forward. I'd highly suggest you start emailing anyone you can find within the DNR Fisheries...

    I use the Garmin and it is slick. Garmin's are really user friendly out of the box like Mfoster said. I recommend adding the perspective mount. I fish a ton of shallow water and the perspective view is pretty incredible. You don't hear as much about that view, but I love it.

    If you are near a Buc-ee's gas station you should check it out. They had 50lbs last week for a little less than $10.
