    I was driving on the backroads at 11. Bought my first car at 13, parents required that I stayed on the dirt roads.

    My dad died a couple of years ago and I miss him every day. He made it to 80 so I am eternally grateful for that. Cancer got him in a mere 9 months, so fast he was never in pain and barely realized how serious it was before he was gone. Not bad in my opinion.

    Writing a check for $40k this evening. Apparently the already paid $60k+ wasn’t enough. Gut wrenching…. Plus state taxes, gotta write that check as well. I need a drink.
