I recently shot my new SA35, 100 rds with no issues. I had an original made in Belgium Hi Power, the SA35 does have better sights, a subdued finish that I like, and two more rounds in the mag. This model gun has always had a natural feel and balance to me. I got two extra mags from SA in about...
I updated some ceiling light fixtures in my BRAND NEW HOUSE a few years back. Just found wire sticking through the drywall with no outlet box. How did that possible pass the electrical inspection? Well it was in Cobb County within the city limits of Kennesaw
We picked up a bunch of swabbies once in Guam for a C-130 ride to Australia. The aircraft commander advised when we were crossing the equator, everyone of them looked out a window, I guess they were looking for a big sign the ocean? :usa2:
Drive something full metal, had a soft top Jeep cut open in the Grady parking lot. Once you get past the homeless beggars on the front sidewalk you will be okay.
Good luck on recovery, it's hard for those of us that work hard to get things we like then some low life steals it. I lost a nice Corvette back in 1977 to a theft ring. Cops said they don't look for stolen cars, just put them on list and wait for them to turn up. There was a time in this...
A nice example of a real k98 with some history. One thing out of place is the late war front band. I remember when $750 got you an all matching minty one, but those days are gone. Good luck with sale, nice addition to any milsurp collection, bayonet is a plus.
Good call, when you see a bunch of flashing blue lights coming your way PULL OVER and get out of the way! I only saw about two cars do that in the video.
I could not tell if it is a short or long rifle. The long "Turkish mausers" are WW1 G98s with replacement barrels from that arsenal and a mixed bag of original mauser parts. The old 98s have been passed around the world and back, a nice piece of history you have there.
